all organic GONE. all i could do was to draw the structure of the compound in the qns. how amazing.

and when i saw pyruvic acid i was trying to figure out how many Cs does pyruvate have, and realised it's 3. and it fits the question. so, i conclude no CO2 lost.

but i didnt writ ett down.
i'd be so much happier if the qns went "describe the fate of pyruvate in sufficient supply of oxygen"
